What’s The Issue:

We’ve recently confirmed that the PowerPack Slim (Gen 1) may pose a potential fire risk in rare cases. After investigating three confirmed incidents, we found that overheating during use can cause a fire hazard.

While we have tested a number of units from multiple batches and found that the core safety systems in the product are working as intended, we have still decided to take this proactive step to recall all PowerPack Slim (Gen 1) to ensure the ongoing safety of our customers.

Importantly, this issue is strictly limited to the PowerPack Slim (Gen 1) and does not impact any other SnapWireless products.

What You Should Do Immediately

1. Stop using the PowerPack Slim (Gen 1) immediately.

2. Dispose of it safely:
Option 1: You can dispose of e-waste items free of charge at your local Bunnings via Electronic Recycling Australia 'Unplug N' Drop' stations.

Option 2: Search “E-waste disposal near me”, or “E-waste disposal + (your local council)” in google. All local councils provide a list of free locations to dispose of E-waste. Additionally, you can search here https://recyclingnearyou.com.au/. Please DO NOT dispose in your standard garbage or recycling bins.
